You can permanently delete your dlabla account and its data at any time. This page describes both methods, as required by Google Play's account-deletion policy.
Method 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open dlabla and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for erasure.
Method 2 — By email
Email support@dlabla.com with the subject "Delete my dlabla account" from the email on your account, or include the phone number you registered with. We verify it's you, then process the deletion.
What gets deleted
- Profile (name, photo, bio, interests, languages)
- Phone number, email and login credentials
- KYC identity documents and selfie
- Emergency contacts
- Device push tokens and app notifications
- Your trips that have no other participants
What may be retained
- Messages you sent in group chats and reviews you left — shown as from "Deleted user" — because other travellers' records depend on them
- Records we must keep under Indian law (e.g. fraud investigations), kept only as long as legally required
Timeline
Deactivation is immediate; full erasure completes within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — trips, reviews, verification status and connections cannot be restored.
Just taking a break? You can simply log out — nothing is deleted, and your travel identity is waiting when you return.
