These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and dlabla ("dlabla", "we", "us"), operated from Pune, Maharashtra, India, governing your use of the dlabla mobile application and dlabla.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
2. The Service
dlabla lets travellers publish trips, discover trips, request to join, chat, share expenses, check in during travel, review each other and use safety tools. We may add, change or withdraw features at any time.
3. Trips are user-to-user
- Hosts decide whom to accept; travellers decide whom to travel with. dlabla does not vet trips and does not guarantee any traveller's conduct, identity claims (beyond the verification badge status), solvency or reliability.
- All arrangements — transport, accommodation, costs, itinerary changes — are strictly between the participants.
- The expense-split tool is a calculator for convenience. dlabla does not hold, transfer or guarantee money between users.
- Travel involves inherent risk. Assess your companions and destinations yourself; obey local laws; obtain appropriate insurance.
4. Safety features — limits
SOS alerts, check-ins, verification badges and reviews are assistance tools, not emergency services and not guarantees of safety. SOS depends on your device's network, GPS and SMS delivery, which may fail. In an emergency always contact local emergency services (112 in India) first.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: harass, threaten or harm anyone; discriminate; post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content; misrepresent your identity; use another person's documents; solicit users for commercial services, spam or scams; scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; use the platform for any illegal purpose, including transporting prohibited goods. Full behavioural rules are in the Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.
6. Content
You own the content you post and grant dlabla a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it within the Service. You must have rights to whatever you upload. We may remove content that violates these Terms or law.
7. Verification & moderation
We may (but are not obliged to) verify identities, moderate content, investigate reports, suspend or terminate accounts, and share information with law enforcement where legally required. Verification badges indicate a document check was completed — they are not a character guarantee.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, endanger others or break the law, with or without notice depending on severity.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dlabla and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for personal injury, death, property damage, financial loss or disputes arising from interactions or travel between users. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is higher.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify dlabla against claims arising from your content, your conduct on trips, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights you hold.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in-app at least 7 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
